Satisfactorily Dissatisfied

To the flesh, it feels good to sin.
But the remorse is felt from deep within.
Pathetically, we regret what has already been done.
But we didn't consider this when we were having fun.

When the pleasure begins, it's hard to stop.
The need must be sated.
But afterward, the satisfaction is dissatisfying
and a problem has been created.
You scold you for self-gratification,
and you say you won't do it again.
But when you get the chance and feel the urge,
the desire shall once more win.

Very good poem and very true for everyone. I think the best way to overcome these desires is delayed gratification. Its sad because not everyone understand what this concept means. Well-written poem! Good job. The lines are very straight forward especially the first two lines of each stanza.
